Day1 (28/10)
i can't rmb wat i did this morn. mum and dad took leave this aftnoon. at ard 4:30, we left hm. Barney is such a 'good' brother. he sae gdbye to the luggage b4 he sae gdbye to me. i felt like givin him black eye. Sharon went to send me off. she passed me the codebook to write stuff...
On the plane, we swapped seats. i sat @ window seat with persis nxt to me and another guy at the ailse. aft dinner, persis slept while i tried to keep myself occupied with sth. then, the three of us played poker cards. it was almost mid-night when we reached there. aft collectin our baggages, we took a bus to the school. we w8 outside the sports stadium for the teacher to bring us to the hostel. by the time Yvonne, Jia En and I settled down, it was 2:30am...
Day2 (29/10)
Woke up at 6+ and went back to slp till ard7. aft breakfast, we were assigned diff classes. jia en and i were in the same class. the 1st lsn we sat for was phsics. followed by 2 periods of eng.aft tt, it's lunch time. aft lunch, we went to 解放碑 to shop. i walked ard with some of the girls. didn't buy much stuff. most of the $ spent was on stuff i nid. then, went bk shop. bought some stationaries. soon it was time to assemble. the teacher sent us back to our hostel to put the stuff we bought at the hostel. then, we went to a restaurant for dinner. aft dinner, we went sightseeing. the night scenery is beatiful. but my cam 'scared of cold' weather, cannot take much pictures )':
Day3 (30/10)
woke up slightly earlier than yester cos classes start earlier todae. i overslept and was almost late for breakfast and class. sat down for a period of english followed by geo and chi. aft tt, jia en and i went to the sports hall for kung fu lsn. when we reach there, we saw the rest leavin. they sae the time change le. and tt the lsn was ok. aft tt, went back to classrm for lsn again. had 2 periods of math b4 lunch break. aft lunch, go back hostel till ard 2 then go lt w8 for 中国文化课 but the venue was changed to one of the sec1 classrm. the chi lsn ended early, so we went back to our class. they were havin self study period. they very quiet durin selfstudy. nt like some of us, so noisy till the teacher frm the class nxt door hav to come shut us up -.-"
aft self study, the students went to the canteen for dinner. we had nth to do, so we went to the canteen to w8 for dinner. then, we had free time till ltr in the evening where we have to go to the LT for movie screening. aft movie, go back hostel to pack for trip to mt e-mei and le shan
Day4 (31/10)
woke up early this morn. aft breakfast, set off for le shan. it was a long journey. I slept for abt an hr and watched movie for the rest of the journey. we had toilet breaks during the journey.
we toured a temple and look at the le shan da fo. xin ying and i went down 1st. then decided to go up cos we thought the rest nt gonna go down. she scared we lost, so decided tt we go back frm where we came frm. then i had to run aft her cos she walk very fast. then at the bottom, we saw the rest of them goin up. by the time we go up, i was sort of sweatin. so, i took off everythin and jus wear a polo shirt.
Day5 (1/11)
woke up very early this morn cos goin to mt e-mei. frm the entrance, we took a bus up for 1hr or so. then, we took cable car up part of the mt and the rest was by foot. we had to climb flights of stairs. by the time i reach up, i was sort of breathless and cold. as in the fact tt my hands and feets were freezing cold. it felt as though it had turned into ice:S aft tt, the teacher decided to cut short the trip and head back cos at the rate we're walkin, we won't b able to complete the whole journey. we headed back for lunch at the mt. the guys ate alot. cos we didn't do much in the aftnoon, the teacher brought us out to watch show tt nite. aft the show, we went back to hotel. i changed into my PJ in the toilet. when i was changin my pants, i saw a xiao qiang in near the toilet bowl. yvonne scared till she go other ppl's rm to spend the nite. jia en wanted to, but scared teacher scold, so nv go wif yvonne. but we shut the toilet door so tt if the xiao qiang still htere, it cannot come out. aft packin, went to kim's rm to play card games till ard 11:30, then go back to rm to slp...
Day6 (2/11)
woke up ltr than yester.aft breakfast, we went to another place. i can't rmb wat tt place is. then, we went to the crystal palace. aft tt, we went for lunch. the toilet there was nt so bad. but the best way i can describe it is tt it has 3 cubicles and 1 door. aft lunch, we headed back. we reached the hostel at ard 8+, almost 9. we went to the canteen for dinner. even though we ain't tt hungry or anythin, we still ate a little to show our appreciation to the canteen aunties for w8in for us and keepin our food warm. once we got back, i unpacked everythin and packed for the nxt day b4 goin to slp.
Day7 (3/11)
woke up early as usual. but i still feel tired.we had lecture aft breakfast. followed by FRC. then, we joined our class for lsns. at noon, we headed to the canteen for lunch. i ate alot cos i was feelin very hungry. aft tt, go back hostel. i went to buy a drink and some sweets b4 goin back to take medicine. then, go Eunice's place. aft tt, we headed to the sports stadium for kung fu lsn. we w8 so long the teacher also nv come. then the guys started playin basketball. then the girls go into small grps and chat and sing till ard 5 then go canteen for dinner. aft dinner, we went to 解放碑 to shop.
Day8 (4/11)
Woke up late this morn. we overslept cos yvonne forgot to set her alarm and i couldn't get up even thouhg my phone was ringing. cos it's nt the 1st time we're late, we were 'punished' by mdm tay(those ppl taght by her should noe wat's her punishment) aft tt, we went to LT for lsn. followed by morn excercise wif the students. nxt, we went back to lt for lsn again. aft lsn, go back hostel and rest. then had lsn again till evening. go eat dinner, then go back hostel slack.
Day9 (5/11)
woke up earlier this morn. aft wat happened yester. aft handing in 每日一记 to teacher, we went for lsn. had 2 periods of chi, follwed by physics and another 2 periods of eng. aft which is lunch time. aft lunch, we went to the lt to buy uniform b4 headin back to the hostel to put our stuff. then we went to 磁器口 to shop. there's lots of food there. and i some crafts also. i gt sth for my paternal grandparents and my parents as well. i gt mum a keychain wif her name on it. but i nt sure where it is cos i lost it at home. kim and i were w8 for the lady to make the keychains when an old woman went to tell the lady tt there's a theif behind us. kim was scared. i was curious, so i turned my head ard to look. i didn't manage to spot the guy. so i gave up aft kim begged me to stop lookin at the thief ?! tt nite, we had steamboat for dinner...
Day10 (6/11)
went to 洪崖洞 this morn aft breakfast. i dun really feel tired even though i slept at 12+ last nite. we were chattin with the other teacher at 'home' till very late. btw, goin back to todae. we didn't have lsn cos they havin exams. most of us went to starbucks for a drink and food. i bought a cup of hot chocolate and gulped it down cos it was so delicious.aft tt, i went shoppin wif 郑老师 and 黄老师 cos the others dun wan spend any money. aft tt, we went back for lunch. aft lunch, gt nth to do, so i went to the sports hall play basketball wif the guys. then, we rehersed for tonite's farewell performance before dinner. aft dinner, we went to the hall for the farewell performance. aft the performance, we exchanged gifts. many girls cried. they didn't want to go back to the hostel. they wannna spend more time wif their buddies. even though the teacher wants us to go back to hostel, we didn't care. jia en and i went back to the class cos jia en wants to pass the gift to her buddy. we didn't really go back to class cos we didn't want to affect their mood and their revision for exams. but jia en felt bad for nt bein able to giv them anyhtin and nt goin into the class. so, we wrote a note for the class at the back of the song lyrics for 细水长流 written by liang wen fu.
Day11 (7/11)
went to 解放碑 to shop again. i didn't really spend much todae even though it's the last dae and i still gt few hundred RMB left. i went to KFC to buy sth to eat though. aft tt, we went back to sch for lunch. then, i went back to hostel to pack my luggage and rest for a while before back to sch to look for our buddies as most of them are goin home for the weekends. then, we roamed ard the sch till it was almost time for dinner, then we went back to hostel for a while, then go canteen for farewell dinner.aft dinner, i accompanied few of them to look for their buddies. i went to look for my previous buddy. just told her tt we're leaving tonite. then, went back to look for the other gals and helped them take photos. then, we go look for our sec 2 buddies or ppl frm the sec2 class we went to for the past 2 wks or so. jia en and i watched mivie with the ppl frm our class and at ard 8:40, we went back to the hostel to get our stuff. 2 of the girls frm our class came along. they helped us take the lighter stuff like gifts and hand carry while we carry our luggage down. i went down faster than yvonne and jia en. i didn't make as much noise as them cos my luggage lighter than theirs. i can hear wat sounds like slamming of doors when it was actually made by their luggage dropping on the floor as they go down each flight of stairs. the students accompanied us till our assembly point b4 sayin gdbye. wat happened aft tt is sad. so i'm nt gonna tell u guys much abt it. (but dun worry. cos i didn't cry...)
a few of girls asked me why i didn't cry? some may think tt i've gt no feelin. but aft wat happened in the past, why would i wanna cry over such things? we'll ahve to say goodbye to them one fine day. i'm always prepared. even though i'm afraid of not havin any friends. i'm always prepared to day goodbye when the time comes.
Day12 (8/11)
on the plane, i wrote my 每日一记. aft tt, i had some food, continued writing and aft i finish writin, i went to slp. i only slept for ard 3-4 hrs. aft i gt home, i unpacked my luggage and went to take a shower. then, i went to sch for CO prctice. persis and yvonne didn't go cos they tired le...
i think i shall stop here. i'll post another dae. ltr i gonna have lunch and watch movie with my cousins and sadly, my two other bros.
